Moyzo,

I am so sorry. Between working overtime and being sick, I had not checked my email account for a while. I completely missed the notice about your Dec. 13th birthday until today. I hope you will enjoy your video.

I have been working hard on my new house.  I have spent a lot of time painting, sorting, packing and cleaning.  I am falling into a doze as I type this reply.  My whole body aches (something seems wrong about that spelling....tired mind tricking me or I am just a poor speller???)  For some weird reason, my calves hurt the most.....not sure what to make of that.  I would have thought it would be my back and arms.....not that they are happy with me either.  Homes accumulate a lot of crap in a decade.

Moyzo,

Well, it seems I did it again ... missed your birthday.  This time, though, I can't claim the overtime excuse seeing as I've been laid off since mid-November ... can I get a "praise God"?  However, I suppose I could still blame "illness" -- y'know, like that mental illness of depression that accompanies such losses.

Anyway, here's your birthday video ... still having trouble getting them to embed, so it's just the link.

Thank you for the birthday greetings once again, anyways where has every other maltheist gone or have we all gone to become atheists or agnostics.

I dunno.  It seems that the forum only had life when there was a need to defend against the theophiles.  Apparently, the two "upgrades" to Bnet have obliterated their cookie-crumb trail to the Maltheist Forum.

I've been particularly dissatisfied with Bnet since the 2009 changeover and have been spending very little time on Bnet in general.  Occasionally, I would drop in here out of curiosity.  That's when I'd notice the birthday threads and post a new (usually belated) greeting.  I think maybe I'll just let 2009 be the last year for birthday greetings/videos.

Best wishes to you ...

I don't actually believe in the God of the religions of the 'Book', but if there was such a being, I would be obliged to become a maltheist.

Can I assume that maltheists as a rule still believe in 'God'?

Hi Namchuck,

As you can see, this forum is fairly defunct these days.  The short answer to your question would be,"Yes, Maltheists do believe in God."  However, for further elaboration, I'll refer you to a thread in the Beliefnet archives, which contains Paul Zimmerman's essay on Maltheism.  The URL is:
