This movie,  while not completely painting an accurate picture of the great man, is a good place to start about learning about Bhagavad Sri Ramanuja and his immense contributions to the world. 

Ramanuja was more than a theologian; he was a social reformer who truly practiced the idea that all human beings were equal in the eyes of a Loving God.  He brilliantly synthesized Vedantic ideas with the devotional outpourings of the Azhwars, the Vaishnava Saints, creating a philosophical basis for a spiritual-inspired humanistic outlook that would inspire numerous others, from Guru Nanak to Chaitanya to Kabir.
