I like the new user friendly format. However, I'm sorry we've lost the continuity of the old groups.

Hi there, Cal -
I guess the new format is "user-friendly" - I'm still having trouble finding things. Maybe its just an old dog trying to learn new tricks! And like you, I'm sorry that the continuity with "old" groups and discussions was lost. Shalom, Merrill |

Took me twenty minutes or more just to find my way here. Took so long, I don't know how to get back.

When they first were setting up the new format, it seemed much more like a personals listing, and less conducive to the debate that I have been coming here to get. I haven't been as regular here since the project I have been on at work has been keeping me from my office for weeks at a time. I will try to come back and argue some more.

As a relative newcomer, I don't know any better. I agree that navigating can sometimes be difficult. Sometimes I can't remember where I posted something, and it's not always easy to figger it out. Also, on certain boards, if you leave to do something (like write a sermon, or preach, or visit folks) there are 20 or 30 posts to wade through when you finally get back. I usuall just end up going to the end and responding to whatever is there.

I too used to have trouble remembering where I posted something, until I noticed that there is a red dot in front of the titles of all the threads I posted in. Check it out, mn. It really helps whern you find many different threads in which you want to participate. :-)

Thanks Spudette, I was kind of wondering what that little dot meant. Now I know.
