My name is Michael Edan.  I am here on Belief.net to share and explore spiritual community and evolution.  I am a Holistic Health Practitioner specializing in private consultations and public education in the modalities of: Polarity Therapy, Reflexology, Craniosacral Balancing, Focusing Process, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and Reiki Spiritual Healing.  I also am involved in the creative arts through directing and acting in theatre (local - I'm hardly famous) and also enjoy writing essay contemplations and poetry (visit my journal).  A creative goal I have is to write a book of my compiled poetry and essays with original art work and photographs around the theme of healing and consciousness.

The theme of "What Is Healing" is near and dear to me.  I feel that healing involves the whole person, the level and quality of consciousness as it interrelates with life.  This includes all facets of our living and experiencing: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  It includes our relationship with our environment which involves family, friends, work and work associates, animals, nature, group communities, and the entire planet.  I believe that healing is about bringing ourselves, our experience, into a fuller, practical expression of Unity.  We have such unique and rich histories and yet our history does not totally define us.  We have diverse talents and insights to share with one another, and yet there is always room to expand our learning, understanding and appreciation.

My intention in being here is to expand community with integrity, clarity, compassion, acceptance, goodwill, creative perspectives, support, humor, and love.
