I love the concepts of Hindu as well as I have learned them from videos and books. I think it is magical and wonderous.
Hi Gangajal,Hindu image worship to me is a representation of a person or thing which is you, me, and everyone who are statues, the visual impressions of something or someone in a mirror, through a lens, etc. a copy,a mental picture, idea, the concept of a person, product held by us as people. A metaphor=a figure of speech in which one thing is spoken of as if it were another=imagination=the act or power of forming mental images of what is not present until we stand in front of a mirror=reflection=imaginative creations of others like your idea gangajal of what Hindu image worship means to you. Because some of what people read into may seem impossible or foolish, even ridiculous, it may at first offend the sensibilities, causing one to scoff at it,ridicule it,and reject it. Each time one comes upon a statement that has that effect,I suggest that before rejecting it, one should ask whether or not one would want that statement to be true and then give oneself the chance to see it as true.
