And yes that is my real name. Well actually Anthony Gandalf Parker. Im an old Jack of all Trades. Im retired military (USAF). Im married with 2 sons. I grew up in Iowa, now I live in California. I have a nice house. 4 bdr, 2 bath, fireplace, huge back yard. Of course at California prices I could sell it and get a castle back in Iowa.
Both of my sons (in their 30's) still live with us. We are fairly clannish from both sides of the family. One son is married and they live here (paying rent of course). The other son is handicapped and my "day job" is caring for him (he pays rent also by the way).
Im an ex-methodist, ex-scientologist, ex-baptist, and now Im neo-pagan druid living with two wiccans in my house. In case anyone was wondering, I had the most "cult" problems with the baptists.

No. Freezone is Scientology by people who are completely outside and want full separation from the Church of Scientology. Basically IMHO I think of Freezone as what Scientology would be if it started now, outside of the 1950's requirements to be either medical or church if you claim to help people.
It sounds as if you are more interested in the "Scientology" part than the "Church of" part so I would recommend that you look into finding a Freezone source near you, or researching the basic things at your local library (much of the scientology literature is available there). At some later time if you decide that you have BECOME a Scientologist you can always join then and provide support for them.
Hi, I consider myself Pagan too, but I'm eclectic with other spiritualities. I like the unitarian and the unity churches. I am exploring scientology for self help, as traditional mental health services did nothing. I think auditing might help and i found a local mission to take relatively cheap courses and auditing. I do not want to join the church but at least become clear if i can afford it. I have heard so many ad things I dont know what to believe. Maybe the freezone is the way to go. Would taking classes and auditing at my local mission without joining the church be considered free zone?
