I am new to Beliefnet, and am happy to have a platform to use to get to know people and explore my spiritual journey.  I rarely find a chance to discuss spiritual issues.  I have been attending once a week meditation training.  I have gone most of my life up till about fifteen years ago, searching for a more comfortable spiritual outlet.  In the 60's and 70's it was hard to find info on any religion or philosophy except Judaism, or Christianity.  Buddhism, and the other "Eastern Religions" could only be found in a book store under the "Occult" section!  Now that "The Net" is here it is a miracle to be able to find any bit of information one wishes.  The youngsters are sooo lucky to have this medium available to them.  What am I saying I am lucky to have it also.
