I don't even really remember how I found Beliefnet. I just know I'm glad I did. "Online friends" is a phrase I used to laugh about, until I discovered just how caring most of the folks here at Beliefnet really are. There have been many times I've asked for prayers, and had all the love and support a person can ask for. There have been some difficult times come my way, and my B'net people have always been here to lend a shoulder, say a prayer, or offer advice or just listen. The friends I have made here, who have never met me face to face, are some of the best friends I have ever known. They truly care about me, and I truly care about them.
Life is a journey. There are times when we all need to reach out to others who share common interests, or just common boredom. Beliefnet offers us the avenue to travel this part of our journies, and the street on which to share our stories and our dreams. Even though we don't all share the same faith or religious beliefs, we do share Belief. That's what Beliefnet is all about. Just sharing our Belief, our Journey, our story, our dreams, our lives.
About me, well, I'm a single woman in my early fifties. I live with 4 doggies, and have grown kids and grandkids. I am also a cancer survivor of 12 years now. I drive a truck at a copper mine here in Southern Arizona, and am a Shop Steward for my union. My daughter is a Registered Nurse, and my son has his own business as a tile setter. They are both married to wonderful people, and have beautiful families. They are people I am proud to know.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANKIE!!! I haven't been to B'net for quite a while but I had to send my Well Wishes for a wonderful birthday celebration..you have inspired me over the years, even though I'm just an off & on participant....I always look for what you have to say. For me, the 50's have been the best. Happy Birthday with Love, Molly
Many happy returns of the day. May God give you his light so you walk through him....Blessings.....Sabrina
