spiritually renew impoverished people throughout Latin America and the
Caribbean through improving the health, economic, social and spiritual
conditions of the men, women and children we serve.
Food For
The Poor maintains positive and highly efficient relationships with
hundreds of already existing organizations in the countries it serves
to ensure expedient and reliable aid is delivered quickly where it’s
needed most. With a focus on self-sufficiency and micro-enterprise,
Food For The Poor’s programs deliver long-lasting positive change.
Additionally, Food For The Poor is independently certified and
commended by many reputable third party agencies, including a five star
rating from Charity Navigator. With an efficiency rating of over 96%,
Food For The Poor makes certain monies donated to the organization go
towards the people their aimed to assist. Additionally, Food For The
Poor is ranked the second largest international relief agency in the
U.S. by The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
