My last journal entry was pretty depressing but I'm doing better with each day.  It's always difficult to lose a loved one but we are all also able to recover with God at our side.   With that being said, I want to everyone to know that I'm praying for you no matter what your circumstances are.

As I said, I'm doing better lately and despite the sadness I still feel over the loss of my cousin, I can still find joy in walking with the Lord.  He is always faithful no matter what.  It's a matter of faithfulness from those of us here on Earth that determines His intervention. 

This summer is a time of sunshine, flourishing plant life, and a cool breeze now and then.  It seems to me like it's the perfect time to renew our spirit.  Just pray and spend time with Jesus and surely you'll feel your faith strengthening.  And know that if your faith is truly strong, it won't be shaken even in the toughest times.

On a final note, remember this expression:  "Know God, know peace.  No God, no peace."
