I'm Stacey and I am a Catholic. I turn 21 next month and I am currently working as a psychiatric nurse but hopefully not for long. My ultimate dream is to go to Africa with the Medical Missionaries of Mary and serve the poor. In the meantime, I hope to live a life centered around Jesus.
I feel that the only way to stay rooted in the faith is to keep my mind and heart fresh with inspiration. That's why I believe it's important to read the Bible daily and to surround myself with positive influences. A prime example is Rwandan Genocide survivor Immaculee Ilibagiza, whose story of forgiveness despite horrific circumstances is remarkably encouraging. Hers is an example of true love for God and all His children. I pray that we can all follow her lead.
