Communication transpires between the heart-centered place of awareness in people.  The prime directive in effective communication is to see the other person as well as oneself as being unconditionally "okay."  Coming from an attitude of making the other person wrong (parent/ego self) or making the other right and you wring (child/victim place) means placing masks over the true message.  Only when one is in the heart/aware place can there be a genuine "I-Thou" relationship.

If you are in your heart/aware place, then the only way another person can connect is to move to their heart/aware place too.
