About Me:
My experience of the Divine is unique to me, as, I believe, are all relationships with the Divine. I experience the Divine as a noun and
a verb; a particle and a wave. I find no conflict between spirituality and science. Dualistic thinking is inaccurate in my opinion. There isn't a little box on the list of religions into which I fit.
My family is most important to me. We are a lively and opinionated group, with interests and involvement in the arts and culture, music, politics, philosophy and science.
I first studied and worked in the field of Physics with a concentration in Acoustics; followed by Fine/Studio Arts. I've worked as an artist and set/production designer for 30 years.
I have devoted much effort to social action, particularly advocating for abused children and women; presenting workshops and lectures speaking to respect for, and celebration of diversity of culture, race, and religion; writing programs for, and working with school children to build self esteem, and in opposition to bullying.
I'm now considering new possibilities for the future. I don't know just what yet...that's a good place to begin.
My Favorite Quote or Motto:I said to the almond tree, sister,
Speak to me of God,
And the almond tree blossomed.
St. Francis Of Assisi

Hi Echo ~ Thank you for commenting on my Guestbook. In answer to your question...
"Thank you for your comment about my butterfly!
Your picture is quite striking. Tell me about how you chose it, if you get a chance.
Have a bright and Beautiful Day Friend!" ~ Echo
Thank you for your comment on my Flowers (icon). I chose it because I am Ordained to Speak, and the image reminded me of God touching a person's spirit empowering them to speak the words He provides. Thank you for asking ~ You are the first person to ask that question (smiles)...
