My Prayer Circles |
Hello Ebon
posterboyWe have a liquor store in Edmonton with over 1000 kinds of beer, but alas no Bishop's Finger. I am partial to Burton Ales and managed to find Samuel Smith's nut brown ale from Yorkshire, and bought a pint for Eostar. There was another ale whose name I forgot and is made near the village of Ringwood Hants the ancestral point of origin. My grandfather's uncle volunteered to serve in the Boer War and part of the demobilization package arranged with Canada was title to a 160 acre homestead in the west. The whole programme was known as South African Scrip.
All the best,
Pb
