Thanks for the clarification. I know your spirit is with the Lord. Still, I must admit there are some things the Bible literally says that I understand to be metaporical, and some that I take literally, others take to be metaphorical. So I do not expect everyone to agree with me on everything, and friendship doesn't have to be based on agreement, but I just wasn't sure what your interpretation there was. Even though people may not agree, it still doesn't mean that they have to agree on everything to be saved, except to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Love ya', Steve

The Scriptures are clear about refusing Salvation, and eternal punishment. I cannot reverse this, it would be not only a foolish, but a dangerous thing as well to try. I do believe in eternal punishment, I also believe it can be avoided by receiveing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Not by perfection, but by acception. Thee are many who have done wonderful things, but it is only Christ who died and rose again so that everyone would have the right to the tree of life, this I believe.

Thanks for considering my post 'Thanatos'. I agree with you that God is loving. The Scriptures clearly teach that He is not willing that any should perish. Though, I'm not sure if I understand whether or not you agree that Jesus said that those who didn't accept God's salvation would be cast into eternal punishment (Matt. 25: 46), I believe whole heartedly in an everlasting punishment, and some who have died and come back testify to that as well. I am concerned that there are many who do not believe what Jesus said in that reference, and as Jesus also said, 'though one were to come back from the dead, many would not believe'. Love ya', Steve

Hey, Sweetheart, Thanks for commenting on my Chronicles post. You are so right. While Deborah was judging, the Lord told her to enlist Barak and Barak refused to go unless she went with him. Amen to that. Sometimes I wish there was a way to get people to stop and look at what we are doing not just to the planet but to our on children, what with all the bad language and not caring "Let the other guy take of it, we'll be fine." So scary
