Hi Dunamus ~ This is in response to your comment on "Sweet Effectual Prayers" -- What a beautiful comment you've shared with us in response to the messsage... "My prayers have a way of inviting a sweet aromoma. Mainly, because I make it a habit to pray the words of God. Words that come straight from His heart. This gives me a peace that passes all understanding and shields me from all the firey darts of the enemy regardless to who or what the enemy tries to use against me. It provides wisdom, knowledge, understanding and an ability to stand where the enemy wants me not to stand. Oh, how I love to pray! May you experience all the blessings that a strong prayer life has the propensity to bring." ~ Dunamus I really love what you've shared Dunamus. Praying the Scriptures, and in particular, those words that came from the heart of Jesus is very wise advice in relation to Prayer. And thank you for your inspirational comment! Love,

Thank you for the comment. I too live on the east coast and experienced that earthquake. I know you may not have heard of John Muncy but go to youtube.com and hear what he has to say. It is very informative. Thanks again for the comment and have a blessed week. Scott

Thanks for your commens in the Prayer Changes things group, It was nice to know someone had read the posts. This week I Wrote a journal about the JOY OF THE LORD is my strength and totally lost it someone called and maybe it sat too long or it was some feedback from the earthquake but when I tried to save it,was gone and since IT was not written first it was a major lost. So your comments came at a needed time.

Hi Dumanus ~ Thank you for responding to the message, "Justified by Faith" posted on August 10th...Depending on the POWER available to us through Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit that lives within us is a vital KEY to living the Christian life. I am so glad you brought that up. I appreciate your response to this message, and I enjoyed reading what you had to share with us all, particularly about FAITH, HOPE and LOVE (Your response follows)... "Thanks. The key words for me here are:"Depending on the Power". It reminds me of the lyrics: "To Him who is able to keep me from stumbling, to Him be Glory and honor in the highest" Without Faith, Hope and Love survival would never become a reality. No doubt, Faith, Hope, and Love stands at the heart of Christian life, and it provides a foundation for victory in ANY situation as we travel along our journey. In essence, Faith, Hope, and Love gives us the ability to say: "I can travel now, 'got on my travelin shoes." ~ Dunamus Have a blessed evening my friend!

Good Morning Dunamus ~ Thank you for responding to my message entitled "Some people are just MEAN" . . . I'm bringing my response to you over here, although it is also on the thread, I just wanted to make it easier for you to see it -- it is hard getting back to posts sometimes ~ smiles...My responses are in the brackets... "Shorty after college, I worked for a brief period of time as a sexual assault counselor with abused persons in a secular setting. There, I met the devil and his company. The stories that were told to me were unbelieveable. Date rape, incest, brutal attacks, unwanted pregnancies and the whole ball of wax. There were times when I even came in contact with the abusers. The ironic thing is, most abusers were the products of abusers. Something like a domino effect. Folk seemed to have vented their frustrations out on other folk, because for some reason or another, they simply could not cope. Of course, those of us who know Christ are well aware of what was happening." ~ Dunamus [If the cycle of abuse is not stopped by those in the grip of it, it continues on down the line -- just as you've mentioned, like a domino effect. It takes deep prayer, and sometimes years of counseling for healing to take hold. Depending of course on the individual's willingness to heal. I so understand what you mean about coming in contact with "the devil and his company" -- I have witnessed it, and it is something to experience. I've also found that most people in the grips of satan and his devices do not know God, do not want to know God, or have an animosity towards God.] "Speaking of the photo of the little girl you presented, someone once told me that any type of behavior will discontinue if it is not made available for just one generation, in other words, stop teaching it to the children. There is much I can say about this from different perspectives." ~ Dunamus [Now that is TRUTH! Stop teaching it to the children is exactly right. I'd love to hear whatever else you have to add (from different perspectives) in relation to this topic.] "Anyway, I look forward to responding to your future insights concerning this matter. By the way, the agency actually fired me because they said I was not the type of counselor they were looking for. It all began when a young woman came in seeking an aboption, and I refused to refer her. They accused me of being "unprofessional" because I view the matter from a christian standpoint. They actually escorted me off the premises like a criminal, would not even permit me to clear my desk, and would you believe it was Christmastime? However, that was not the end. Hopefully, I will share that at another time." ~ Dunamus [Oh my goodness! I can really believe it, because again, those of us who are doing God's Will can expect to come up against the wild off-beat reactions like you've described above. You know what I say to that -- wipe the dust off your feet as a Testimony against them.] So glad to hear your thoughts on this, and I look forward to your comments on the next Installment of "Some people are just MEAN" -- it will be out today! HUGS & LOVE ~ Your Friend,

Hi Dunamus ~ Thank you for responding to "Sometimes the pieces just FIT". Here is what I shared in response to you... Loving what you've shared, and I too have done the same as you -- the VISION and the trying to make pieces fit that just refused to fit into place. I thank you for your response, and I'm glad you've found this message to be "highly spiritual" that is an honor. Blessings to you my friend ~

Hi Dunamus! Thank you for responding to my message ~ "I was WOUNDED in the house of my friends."...I responded back to you on the thread, but I'm bringing my response over here to you as well... Dunamus ~ Your words are powerful. I like what you said about..."wear the world as a loose garment" -- well said! And what you said about betrayal is very true as well -- we know that hurting people hurt others. Our understanding of that helps, put we need much more prayer to deal with the wounds. In effect, we need God's armor, but also God's HEALING from the devastating onslaught of attacks that we come up against. And surely, we will come up against attacks. The more of a threat we are to satan, the more we will have to deal with attacks. From inside our homes, churches, and out in the world...I definitely look forward to your upcoming messages along these lines, and I do hope to hear back from you on the upcoming continuing message regarding being wounded in the house of our friends... Love,
