What a day today has been for me! I decided to completely put an end to procrastination.  The first thing on my agenda was to pay a long overdue visit to the Dentist whose practice is in a rural area from where I live.   The  idea of putting my sports car on the road completely eraced any apprehension associated with having dental work done. In all sincerity, I do not have words to describe the ride, so nice it was.  Driving along cheerfully while listening to my favorite inspirational music, and giving praises to my Creator, the ONE who makes everything possible, a four (4) letter sign on the side of the road caught my attention. It sat there in the broad open for everyone to see.  The four (4) letters asked the question: WHO IS YOUR AUTHORITY?   There was nothing else written, only that question.  For some reason, I thought long and hard about that question.  Afterwards, my mind traveled to the ministry of Jesus Christ and the Biblical recording of the AUTHORITY He gave His  followers. He gave  power over all the power of the enemy.  The passages are recorded this way:"... but as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name..."(John 1:12 NKJV). It is believed that when red colored letters are seen in the Scriptures, those words are the identical words that Jesus Christ spoke.  As a result, another writer records in red colored words: "...verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven..." (Matthew18:18NKJV).   The words are believed to be spoken by Christ, himself.   This is real  AUTHORITY given to the followers of Christ. So, with this in mind, I can say along with other believers that my AUTHORITY is Jesus Christ.  This AUTHORITY makes me the head, and not the tail, cannot be intimidated by satan or any of his messengers, and victorious in every area of life.  This AUTHORITY gives me a seat in heavenly places, far above powers and principalities.  The beautiful thing about this AUTHORITY  is it belongs to anyone who will receive.  What a beautiful way to end the day.
