Happy New Year Larry, thanx for stopping by to check on me. I am real sore, still. I have no plans for New Years, my hubby will be working. I hope you have the best year ever.
Yes South Beach is totally insane ......but Times Square....I would love to be right there this time of the yr. A few yrs ago I went there and was about 4 blocks away and was not able to be see the ball drop...now that was INSANE Larry!
What are your plans for New Years?
Larry, thank you for your positive comments about my journal entries. It is amazing that someone else is reading my ramblings, but heartening too. (Especially seeing the most recent this morning after the dog threw up on my bed at 6:13! Not a good start to the day.) I have never seen American Beauty, but have heard a lot of good things about it. I may have to rent it tonight. But again, thank you for the encouragement.
I'm looking into joining a monestary as a way to keep all my balls in the air. I could concentrate on the important ones, the spitiual, and let the others, the financial stuff, job stuff, etc., fall away. I don't know yet if I can give up seeking a mate, but I seem too broken for one, may also be too broken to be accepted into the monestary. I have had several poems published by poetry.com. Don't really know how legit they are, so it may be a dubious achievement, but they've given me several honors, including being the the featured writer, first poem in one of their publications.
Larry, I just noticed today your comments on my guestbook (I'm not a very good community member), I take is as a great compliment that such a great writer as yourself would like my stuff. Your wit and wisdom and courage inspire me, your energy, involvement, and visability make me jealous (everybody likes you and knows you!). Keep at it, my friend, you are a great blessing to us all.
Good Job on your Blog!!!!! Free Comments & Graphics
I enjoyed the singing Santas and dancing Larrys, LOL! Those are some of the weirdest looking reindeer I've ever seen! I love the Elf program, I "elfed" some friends last year, they got a kick out of it!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year,
I see you're up late too :)
