About Me:
Hi Everyone! My name is Dianne and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada - a fairly recent transplant from British Columbia, Canada. I am a grandmother of a two year old boy and a mother to one, my grandson's mother. I have always had an abiding interest in the Earth Sciences and Astrology. I am an eager student who just never gets tired of learning about the world around us, both the scientific and the anomalous. I have a newsgroup with over 3500 members and we study everything related to the above and it has been an enlightening and fascinating journey. I am currently studying Solar Physics (er, I listen in on Solar Physicists) in order to understand the inner workings of our Sun and what it has in store for us. I love anything to do with the mysteries of our vast Universe. I have posted as my Avatar, the Crab Nebula, since my Sun sign is Cancer (the Crab). My Rising sign is Aries and interestingly, my daughter's Sun sign is Aries and her Rising sign is Cancer, which has worked out well for us and we continue to be the best of friends with the ability to literally, see into each other's heads, which is not always a good thing!
