Hi Daphne ~ I'm so glad you're in The Library with us! I responded back to you (and I'm bringing everything over here to your Guestbook) to what you shared on our Bulletin Board in The Library Group... "I just finished "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown, author of "The DaVinci Code" and "Angels & Demons." I realize he's writing fiction, but Brown presents an interesting story in "The Lost Symbol." The introduction of neotic science and the subsequent discussion of mind over matter are fascinating. It was particularly noteworthy to me because I practice meditation. The mind really is a powerful "tool." I truly believe your thoughts can affect the other parts of your life, such as your health. Interesting book." ~ Daphne I'm really interested in hearing more about "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown. I have the DaVinci Code, and I saw the movie. The MIND is a very powerful tool, and I agree with you that our thoughts can affect the other parts of our life -- very much so. Health is one area -- physical & mental. But also, the thoughts that we entertain in our minds can also produce changes in our attitudes, emotions, and feelings. Our minds can be used creatively or destructively. The creative uses of our minds are best used in conjunction with the mind of Christ -- for God is the Master Creator (smiles) that is my personal feeling on it. I hope that you will share more on "The Lost Symbol" in The Library Beliefnet Group with us in the Journal section, or our Forum. HUGS & BLESSINGS to you Daphne! Your Friend,
