I am joining here to talk to those about matters of spirituality and what that all means. I've been on a few other forum sites and have found them to be very rigid in their beliefs. Of course, I shouldn't be overly surprised because the forum WAS for a specific religion. I have been in that religion all my life, but have come to a place of "many questions" that the normal doctrinal answers just don't satisfy any longer. I'm hoping I can gain some new insights here.
I'm usually a very good person. I don't have many "human foilables" in my life. I choose to live outside of the influences of any drugs, even have found alcohol to be meaningless, so have decided to even shun that. I'm a caring person, but not overly (to a fault), and will be generally nice to people, but DO only keep a small group of those I will call "friends". Others are good acquaintences, and that's just fine. If I get to know them well, they will probably work their way into that "friends" category.
I'm a musician at heart and play a few instruments, but have future ideas of creating "New Age" type of music. I find it to be very relaxing.
My family is rather untraditional. My parents are pretty devout Christians, though they don't go to church. I have a brother, along with his wife and two boys, who are also very devout Christians and go to church were I do. I have a sister who is a Christian, though not very strong, but she is a good person, as is her husband, who also isn't all that devout. My oldest brother, and his wife, however, are the most unusual. They started out Christian, but are now Pagan, working in witchcraft. They also are very good people and I enjoy their company.
i'm hoping that my time here will be useful for my "search for the divine".

Okay, I just took the Belief-O-matic test and to my surprise:
The church I currently go to is #22! :-/
Hi there. I really should start writing to my buds on bnet, so I've started with you. All's pretty well in my world. I'm meditating five minutes a day with a lit candle and prayer beads. Can't wait for the warmer weather. How have you been?
