Circle of Praise's blog listings. Feed Zend_Feed_Writer 1.10.8 (http://framework.zend.com) http://community.beliefnet.com/circle_of_praise Happy New Year! In 2010 I will win! Another year, another beginning. If at first you don't succeed, keep trying persistance is the key.

It is not a sin to want riches, we were born for greatness and that includes having more than enough. Having more than enough opens the door and gives you the opportunity to be a blessing to someone else.

Our thoughts have hindered us from being all that we can be, doing all that we can do and having all that we can have. Change your thoughts and you'll change your life. Now is the time, learn to dream and when you dream, dream big. Believe with out doubt that you will receive, and give thanks as if you have already received your big dream. Celebrate and expect miracles everyday!

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me my strength." NIV

"I can accomplish anything I put my mind too, because I know that God has my back."  MARY RANSOM

Hugs!

God Will Provide "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin. Matt. 6:28

Jesus said, "Consider the lily." It obeys sthe laws of its life in the circumstances where it is placed. As a Christian, consider your hidden life with God. Pay attention to the source of your life---God! Realize that He will care for your provision.

The most hard-working creature of  our world is a bidr, yet it does not toil to stick feathers to itself. It obeys the law of its life and becomes what it is. The same is true for Christians.

You cannot enjoy life by heeding outside pressures to change. Imagine what would happen if a lily did what some of us try to do. We say, "Oh, I must give up this; I must go here and there." Imagine a lily's hauling itself out of a pot and saying, "Well, I don't think I smell nice enough. I don't think I look exactly right. I must change myself!" The lily's duty is to obey the law of its life where it is placed by the gardner.

Watch your life, dear Christian friend and allow God to be the source of your life. Then you will grow in His grace.

Prayer Thought: Thank You, Lord, for providing all the necessities of my life.

Manna From my devotional "Every Day with Jesus."

"And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna" Exodus 16:31

There is an art, not known to all who travel, by which a wearied and exhausted life may gather, in a way which seems to those who do not understand almost miraculous, new strength, new vigor, new physical power, for an onward march. So does the Master feed the souls of His children Himself a spiritual "MANNA" as real and more wonderful than that strange, mysterious food with which He fed the House of Israel. To "feed upon the Lord" may sound like empty mysticism, but may be a fact to every trusting soul. For unto us are given "exceeding great and precious promises, that by Him we might be partakers of the Divine nature."

Isn't this a blessing, think about what you just read and Praise the Lord everybody! God bless!

What is Peace? Peace I leave with you, My paece I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John:14:27

This is from Devotions for a Deeper Life by Oswald Chambers author of My Utmost for His Highest.

What is peace? You have seen a water puddle in the road, I'm sure. It is peaceful. There is not the slightest stirring in it. The water is smooth and unruffled. The colors of nature are reflected in it. That is not peace, but stagnant death!

Have you ever seen a child spinning a top? When the top is going its fastest, it is at perfect rest. The peace of God is perfection of energy; it is a healthy vigor of the soul.

The peace of God is not the peace of stoicism or passivity. It is the most intense activity. Some people say that they are tired of life; they mean to say that they are tired of dying. They are tired of the spiritual death that stops activity. They are tired of life gettins so sluggish.

What does Jesus say? "I have come that ye might have life and that ye might have it more abundantly; but ye will not come to me that ye might have it." Everything in this natural world is pitted against you, and unless you have His life you will never have real peace.

Prayer thought: Lord, thank you for inner peace in the midst of a troubled world.

God bless and thanks for stopping by...

Think Good and Perfect Thoughts! There are crazy makers and dream breakers in my life on a daily basis. They don't mean any harm, it's that they aren't aware of their negativity. I have to guard my mind every minute to keep from being swept up. Too do this I flood my mind with first and foremost the Word of God, then CD's and books with a positive theme or message. I quote affirmations all day long. My favorite is "All Is Well". We are Mind, body and soul. If the mind suffers the body and soul suffers as well. I would admonish you to guard your mind, do not entertain any thoughts that are not good and perfect!

From Devotions for a Deeper Life by Oswald Chambers author of My Utmost for His Highest.

Suggested Reading: Philippians 4:1-9

Finally, brethern, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil. 4:8

Genuine saints will discern whatsoever things are true, just pure, lovely and good report. True holiness discerns, virtuous, and praiseworthy people and deeds, and delights in these.
