Oddly enough, I joined this community to keep in touch with a dear friend; however, after perusing the site, I've determined that this may be just the place I've been looking for!

The older I become, the more I realize that there is a piece missing from my life, and as luck would have it, it's the piece that completes the puzzle. I have been mulling spirituality, in all its incarnations, over in my mind lately and have realized that organized religion does not suit my mindset, but that spirituality does.

Hopefully I'll find that here!

I chef for a living and adore my job, even if it does consume a large chunk of my life! I try very hard to keep a positive attitude, but seeing as though I'm human, I sometimes fail miserably. Laughter is singularly the best therapy for me and so I try to inject humor into most things I do, even something as serious as faith.
