It seems like it's been a long time since I've been here. I have been swamped at work with getting a new boss and lots of changes going on.

 Elaine, my new boss is pretty OK. She is very young and has a few things to learn, but she's smart and I think that she is going to make some really good changes. She's the Department Director and I am the Assistant Director. What really sticks in my gut, though, is that the former Department Director, who is staying on staff as a part time employee, is making more than both she and I are. I am trying to be understanding, but it's not easy. I have been doing some praying for patience and understanding, but it's a little slow in coming.

  But on the bright side, I have been blessed with a job that I really enjoy, I love the work that I do with the kids, and  I feel like I make a difference in thier lives. The rest wil work itself out. (I hope).
