On Wednesday, November 11, 2009 we officially launched SPRING REINS OF HOPE / Getting to the Horse of the Matter.

It is all starting to sink in and so I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that it really does take a village. WE is so much better than ME!

My amazing partner, co-founder and director of mental health services - Dr. Maria Karavidas, PsyD (clinical psychologist) has been pivotal in creating our web content and materials. Spry Marketing in Austin TX has done an AMAZING job on our site, capturing just what we needed to express who we are. It really feels as if this project/dream is anointed in that many people have appeared just at the right time to help us put the pieces together. It is now happening and it is with sincere passion and deep gratitude that we will be seeking out our client base from the NY, NJ and Eastern PA area.

Thankyou to the Universe for lining all of this up at the perfect time, I know I argued with you on this but in the end you were right and everything happens exactly when it is supposed to. I am learning and getting better on the Faith, Trust and Leaping part. :)

I have not been on the site much lately as my partner and I have been working hard to launch our dream biz, an equine assisted therapy program called Spring Reins of Hope!

We have spent the past few months feverishly working on web content - its much harder than I thought it would be, but we are nearing the finish line and hopefully will launch the site in the next month or so.

I just wanted to reach out and say Hi y'all!

SPRING REINS OF HOPE (Getting to the Horse of the Matter) is an EAGALA certified EAP/EAL model for equine assisted therapies. For the EAP (equine assisted psychotherapy) we focus on sessions for individuals, couples, and families, we also focus on sessions for behavioral and developmental issues for at-risk-youth and military veterans dealing with anxiety and PTSD.  For the EAL (equine assisted learning) we focus on body language, somatic, team building and leadership skills for both Corporate and Graduate Collegiate programs within the populations of Human Recourses, Sales/Marketing, Pre-Med, Pre-Law and Business Management.  This is very powerful and effective work that can accomplish a lot in a very short amount of time.  We are currently accepting clients and group sessions out of Gracefield Farm in Stewartsville, NJ.
