President Barack Obama

Well all my attention was on Grant Park baby! I look at Obama like he is a political messiah! His speeches are not scripted they come from his heart and brilliant mind, he means it all. People feel that. And might I ad that he is the most brilliant “community organizer” that this country has ever seen!!! (take that back to the drawing board Ms. Palin)! Of course this is a major huge marker for the black population, goes without saying and I can only imagine what it feels like. I will say this though, at least in NY – he is a huge bright light of faith and hope to the white people also, the working class gets it, and gets him, and we LOVE him!!!! I have never had this experience in my lifetime where I have love for a political figure, but it grew for me along side the rest of the country and I prayed so very hard that he would win, and voted with more enthusiasm than I ever had – he is our hope and our future. I cried several times during many of his speeches because he speaks with intelligence to he speaks TO the people and seeing how he directly effects the faces in the crowd is so moving…to watch the rest of the entire world celebrate with us made me cry more – it is beautiful; and I feel so lucky to be witnessing this. You know, I found out yesterday that I am losing my salary FT job (and will lose it on Friday, tomorrow), I found this out the day after Obama was elected – and yes it did make me panic and all – but I also have a sense of hope and faith that is so strong right now that it kept me from getting too upset…(I will be freelancing radio booking for Krupp and getting paid by the booking from now on – so every booking counts for me – and I thank you so much)… I now have hope that employment will get better, economy will be set back on track, so much good is coming back to the USA that I can be proud to live here again. So, I didn’t plan to go off on a dissertation here but am so passionate about this (as many of us are) and am so happy, thrilled and relieved that AMERICA did the right thing this time! I pray for the Obama family’s safety now. That God protects him and his family in a golden bubble of light and divine protection from all evil and mal-intent. Barack Obama has my vote in 2012!
