Lewis was a good friend of Tolkien. His personal life is sometimes difficult- 'A Grief shared' . I think his current popularity masks the real man and his real presence and thought-

I have returned to this group. CS Lewis was a great writer . His books are slow reading but forgive he was a professor . His novels , first Narnia and then his space triology are excellent. Calls on us to use our imagination. Paul

Hi all!! I am 26 and was newly introduced to C.S. Lewis! I just read the Screwtape Letters and now I am wanting to read the Great Divide! I also think it would be cool to read chapter by chapter and have discussions, an online book club! Or do you already do that? Either way, thanks for this group, it is a beautiful homage to a wise man :)
