About Me:
I've been on the spiritual path for more than 30 years having: been baptized in the Spirit, put myself through 600 hours of psychoanalysis on my way to a PhD Religion, followed a teacher from the east (Sri Sri Ravi Shankar) for over a decade, had an enlightenment experience, and taken a 10 1/2 month retreat during which realized I am sent to walk as Jesus walked with whomever the Spirit gives me.
Let us remember that the God against whom we've sinned has provided His only begotten Son, the Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for our sin so we might be fully justified in His sight. God has made this wonderful promise to all who have trusted in Christ:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9
This is a promise we can't speak to ourselves too often. For we know we will sin, yet we know we have a God who forgives our sins for Christ's sake, a High Priest who saves to the uttermost. We've become so familiar with the name of Jesus, we're so familiar with the old Gospel story, we forget there is power in that Name above and beyond any and all powers and principalities, a power that saves to the uttermost: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21, KJV. The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 15:56-57.
Aha!
Feelings (emotion) constantly change... The exhortation is to 'Learn' how the flowers in the field grow, neither do they spin or toil. And, their glory and array is beyond Solomon.
