The essays in this collection are my attempts to address the metaphysics of GOD used in this context as to not being taken merely as an object of the verb loving. In fact, it is the subject, the object, as well as the very act of Loving itself.
May these essays, called from my own new thought writings of this year, help Beliefnet Community & friends toward a better understanding of the possibilities as well as the perils and pitfalls of a GOD or METAPHYSICS of their own understanding. and its implications for daily life in our troubled world.May they call attention to an aspect that has largely been left undeveloped in many healings of New Thought, namely its empowering significance for socially engaged quantum theorists.
Finally, may they enable Beliefnet Community & friends to see resonance with themes in New Thought spiritual but non religious spirituality, so that those who come from or find their home in the New Thought tradition may be able to rediscover and celebrate the underlying treasures therin.
What is the nature of metaphysics enlightenment experience? How does this experience help guide our actions in the virtual world, laden as it is with news of conflict and violence and suffering? How does the experience of enlightenment ground a socially engaged spirituality? And coming to New Thought practice as one born and raised in a Protestant tradition, I address a question that comes out of my inner struggle over many years:
How am I to understand and articulate the New Thought experience in the light of my own past Protestant faith? A tentative answer to this last question woud be Seeing into One's Nature. All of us in the proper time are susceptible to that visit of grace and all we can do from our side is simply dispose ourselves by striving to remove as many obstacles as we humanly can.
