When I was lost and much younger
Feeling weak, alone, and afraid
Unloved, hurting, empty...oh the hunger
Began the path of this sage

1st came the Rabbi; typical Pharisee
The Sabbath, 10 commands, & keep kosher
Were his whole destiney
While secret scrolls & sweet wine kept under

lock & key
Tender age about 9, A banquet at the Shul
Climbed the tower serpentine like a lil' young

fool...
Breeched the Holy of Holies & tasted the wine
Nothing ever tasted sweeter, below heard a

chime
Closed the Curtain, jumping up all red in the

face
Came the Rabbi a screaming, "get out of this

place!"

Flash forward 5 years like a dream or a

nightmare
Learned escape through realities alternative
Was it Fate? Had HE chosen this child to swear?
Gospel Preacher stuck his nose in; gave me the

fear so affirmative
I said it never felt right & went off on a tangent
Every law I did fight
Even in the houses of punitive
Oh GOD what a sight

There was Islam & 5%'s full of hatred and

anger
A Catholic Preist teaching Arabic
A place full of danger
He said, " my dear son all religions are good"...
But my pentacostal group leader said, " Don't

knock on wood"...
Caught up in a whirl-wind; a horrific twister
Came the time to break free & they were calling

me mister...

Plugged back into the Church with a leap and a

lurch
But my conscience did blister Until it just burst
saw the pretty girls singing how they did love

the LORD
I said, "hey there sweet sister..." She Said, "dude

you can't me afford..."
But I just kept trying, believing their healings

miraculous, laid upon by their hands, and so I

wanted to serve...
"But dude you're not immaculate..." Preacher

threw  me a curve

Ah then so damn angry
Perhaps go worship the devil
There were Wiccans & Pagans & everything

inbetween
Some boasting witches and warlocks...
Oh the things that I've seen

But I've come through it alright along with

Jesus and Mary
I fought the good fight Sometimes a bit scary
The Magi were 3 & now together above
All my Sisters & Brothers They do walk in LOVE
I know you're all out there True Workers Divine
Can You feel My Vibration? Can You give Me a

Rhyme?

If you been where I been then you know what I'm

saying...
Just keep your grin, ya might win 'Cause we know

we are'nt playing...
Hold up your chin it's not sin when your faith's a

bit swaying...
Heart of flesh, not of tin; Though growth can

be delaying...

Yes life can be dark and/or it can be sunny
Some of you sharks just might think it's funny
Me being off on a lark may to you seem punny
As for you phony chord harps...Hark!
