HELLO to all who visit my home site.  i have learned a lot in the past three months about grieving and God.  my local priest is counseling me to LET GO AND LET GOD.  i miss my brother immensely.  i do know that time heals.

before i forget _ HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO ALL OF YOU!!!  i am irish so i do not need to forget my wishes.

i have not been regularly posting in my jounal and corresponding to the friends i have acquired.  i lost a brother to cancer on feb. 6. there was a lot of suffering involved-he had cancer in the rectum, colon, liver, lungs, bone and brain.   i am grieving .i know my friends in my 'veterans' group will be happy to know he had a full military funeral.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU IS TO SHARE ENCOURAGEMENTS, SCRIPTURE READINGS, PRAYERS, FRIENDSHIP, ETC. TO ME. 

today i received an email from a friend i used to teach with and in the email Issiah 40:31  was mentioned.  that was the best med i could have received.

i will thank you ahead of time if you will take the time to keep my spirits up!

hello everyone,  when i came  back from new york after christmas i stayed in houston with one sister and my other sister and her husband traveled on to louisiana.  my siswter in houston who is a  nun wasgoing to head to louisiana for new years with me in tow.  she became ill(flu) and i am still in houston.  a friend i s coming in today to pick me up to go home. 

our trip  to new york was wonderful.  the highlight of my trip was midnight mass at St. Patrick's Catherdral.  it was so Christ filled.  i will tell more after i get settled at home.  i will post some pics also.

i have placed my pic on my profile page.  but i miss my cross symbol  that i had.  i may go back to  it.  and  then post pics of myself in my photos.

hope to get back online with all of you soon!  i said a special prayer for all the people i communicate with at belief net.

 i went to new york city for christmas.  the high light of my trip was midnight mass at St Patrick's Catherdal.  it was magnificent.

i am still in Houston with my sister, a nun.  i will be going home tomorrow.

YES, we received snow last week.  where i live we had 3 inches but the surrounding areas received more than i did. this is a happening that only occurs every 20 years!  everyone was excited.  take a look at my photos and you will see that we have a long way to building snowmen.

i have not been visiting the belief net site like i should because i have been having back muscle spasms.  the pain became so bad that i did not care about what was happening around me. 

i am better now with medication and therapy.  i think i have a long way to go.

i am due to leave on the 19th for new york city.  i am requesting you prayers that i heal enough to enjoy my trip with my sisters.  i will be attending midnight mass at St. Patrick's Catherdal.  i will over my prayers for this website

i will probably be back at the site after the first of the year.  my wish for you is to have a very blessed christmas.
