Hi there. I'm Valerie Reiss, editor of Beliefnet's Holistic Spirituality area. (I also edit Buddhism, Earth-based religions, Yoga, and Meditation.) Welcome to the new social network part of the site.

Lately we've been doing a lot of interviews with spiritual (but not religious) teachers for the section. One of my favorites is this amazing video interview with the author of "Eat, Pray, Love," Elizabeth Gilbert by writer Leah Ingram. I found it incredibly inspiring, like a little spirit bath.
