Thanksgiving is a time for reflection on every good thing that God has given to us, but I fear that we fail to allow time for interceding on behalf of others that have lost a loved one.
The holidays are when the pain of that loss burns the deepest. It is when that seat at the table goes empty, that special dish has gone unprepared, and the sound of their laughter and feel of their presence is gone. This is the time when our family and friends need our prayers and positive thoughts the most.
So take a moment this Thanksgiving to pray on behalf of someone who has lost a mother, father, daughter, son, friends, etc and be a blessing in their life.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
