Lately I have realized that there have been many contradictions in Sunday sermons. One preacher will tell me that I need to be content with the fact that I might be single for a lifetime while another tells me that it is not good for man to be alone. One might tell me that ministry is only ministry when it is actively and purposely done and others might say your ministry is your life. I've decided that I can't listen to anyone but God since as one colleague shared with me "Our main problem {Christians} is that we have too many platitudes." So now it's time to walk to the beat of one drum and one alone since the leaders I am supposed to look up to aren't on one accord.
