For those of you who haven't seen the popular TNT show, "Saving Grace" is about a cop named Grace Hanadarko (Holly Hunter) who has wild, dark life of endless drinking, excessive sex, and reckless behavior. To save her from a life of destructive behavior, God sends a tobacco chewing, plaid shirt wearing angel named Earl (Leon Rippy) to help her back towards a life of hope and light.
Have you had an experience similar to Grace's where your life was heading towards a dark tunnel when an angel saved you unexpectedly?

Like all of you, I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving this year--not only in anticipation of all the scrumptious feasting but in anticipation of having my extended family laughing and praying under one roof.
I have no doubt my Thanksgiving will be blessed with wanted (and unwanted!) family advice, cute moments with my younger second cousins, a gigantic roasted turkey, pumpkin cheesecake from a special bakery in Queens, and more memories to add to my life.
As you prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving this year with family and with friends, I hope you will also remember to get into the holiday spirit by checking out the latest heartwarming stories on the Angels page:
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!

A few weeks ago Beliefnet featured a photo gallery, Top 12 TV and Movie Angels.
One of our Idol Chatter bloggers posted a fascinating post on her definition of TV and movie angels. She writes: "I [have] a different take on angels, using a more liberal, less literal definition toward a list that's a bit more on the unusual side. Starting with the eponymous 'Angel': David Boreanaz plays a tortured 'vampire-with-a soul' in the spinoff from the cult hit "Buffy the Vampire Slayer.'" ...
