No one is ever expecting to get news that youve been diagnosed with Cancer. I had found a lump in March and had a biopsy in April. Since then I have undergone a Double Mastectomy and have started my Chemo regimens and will have to do chemo until November of 2009. In the mean time I lost my five year old Golden to cancer that I had found a month before my dianosis. I had to put him down two weeks after my surgery. When it hits ya it hits ya hard! With in my first two weeks of chemo I started loosing my hair. I think thats been the hardest thing for me to deal with since this ordeal has started. Not only did I loose my best friend but I also lost my breast and my hair. Everything that lets you feel like a woman. I have found a few cute wigs but nothing is like the real thing. I also had my hair turned into a wig. I can only wear it underneath hats but it helps me feel a bit normal.
In Feb the same day my dog was diagnosed with Lyphoma Cancer I met my boyfriend Justin. I believe that Bailey waited until we found each other to leave me. He wanted to make sure his mommy found someone to take care of me before he left me. Its now been six months and Justin has been by myside and Im so thankful for his blessing of coming into my life.
