Bahi is a Motivational Speaker, Facilitator & a Spiritual Psychotherapist. She takes a transpersonal and transformational approach in counselling which produces powerful results leading clients to self-discovery, healing and success.
The Governor General of Canada presented Bahi, "2008 Governor General's Caring Canadian Award" for her outstanding community leadership in improving the quality of life for many women and immigrants. YWCA honoured her as "2005 Woman of Distinction" in the Region of Durham among several high caliber women. Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW Canada) presented her "2006 National Leadership Award" for her exemplary leadership in improving the economic, social, political and employment conditions of women.
Bahi is seeking people and resources to assist her with 2 of her current projects: Building an Ashram Retreat Centre and the Scholarship Foundation.
The mission of the Ashram is: “To help people find their life purpose, support people to live their highest potential by teaching ways to de-stress from their daily lives, offer a variety of healing modalities to move through past trauma and to have successes in their individual, family, work and community lives. A place that helps people connect to their mind, body and spirit to find joy, love and laughter in simple blessings of life.”
Bahi is the founder of "Niroshi Krishnakhanthan Scholarship Foundation", which provides 3 scholarship awards to 3 High School students annually who have shown significant academic improvement and pursuing post-secondary education to prepare themselves for the future.
