I am posting this question and thought process to the group for discussion. I am currently finishing a 4 year period where Pluto has crossed and formed major aspects to the luminaries and the major planets in my birth chart. It has raised questions for me in interpreting the actions of Pluto in the current changes we are all experiencing. I would like to start a Plutonian conversation... what does Pluto say to you in your astrological studies? How does it speak to psyche? To health? To vocation and interaction with others? How do you see the transits of Pluto affecting ones spiritual beliefs? Is 'the dark night of the soul' a Plutonian experience?
I am hoping for an open forum discussion - one where anyone can add their thoughts...
Thanks - Bobbi
Hi, just joined today and am learning about astrology too. Right now all I know is I'm a Cancer. Talk of houses and planets makes my head spin a little, but I'll keep at it till I get a better grip on it.
I am a practicing astrologer from India. My speciality is medical astrology. I am looking forward to chatting with group members.
No bad on you Lynn, but you might pass on to belief net, the set up of you home page for thier groups is misleading, when someone logs in there is no way to see if there is or has been any activity in the Forum. I have been members of several groups on several services, and really this presentation seems designed to discourage posting. Blessings, BB.
I'm not really sure if these new dwarf planets deserve any grandiose implementation into the general scheme of charting astrology among heavenly bodies. I don't believe they should be neglected altogether but as a general theme I think one shouldn't need a high powered telescope to see an object that can be included in any astrological chart. Though the energies of any celestial body should be taken into consideration I think to avoid an over abundance of demigods surely there must be an abridgment into any such inclusion. Otherwise every kuiper belt object would need an interpretation for an effect that may or may not be affordable. I'd like to take an initiative and suggest that to gain acceptance into the realm of astrological interpretation the celestial body must enter the realm of the last great planet neptune. This obviously wouldn't apply to stars because the light they create are observed and affect our nightly view of the heavens. If this rule would be applied it would only apply to bodies of mass that do not serve any visible or mentionable effect on the past present or future of the the bodies that history has deemed do create an impact on our being. Basically all new dwarf planets and kuiper belt objects would be disregarded as astrologically unimportant and if not should really just be flavors and tones to the energy of Neptune. This rule in acquisition would have no effect on Pluto as Pluto is now between the orbits of Neptune and Uranus so it's presence in our solar system is noteworthy and does have astrological implications. Just my thoughts on what I think should be done with all these new sub planets popping up. Here is a link that had been asked for in the previous comment:
and as for the comment before that I'm a leo and definitely like to party but I don't align that with my sign being a leo but as an attribute of my ascendant sign sagittarius if you have questions check your ascendant and moon sign and both should give you some answers.
I am brand new to the group and a freshman of astrology, willing and ready to learn more and share my experiences as a Scorpio. I am not just partial to Scorpios, all signs are welcomed to chat with me! Thanks.
