AS we all get caught up in the business of this world, this life that we live, we forget whom we are, where we are coming from and where we are going. Its not a life that I want anymore. I am tired of busy.
I just had a friend stop by, and she was beside herself, upset, frantic, trying to get a new job with fantastic benefits, and they are giving her the runnaround, trying to verify employment and such. I told her what is the worst they are going to tell you? No? You already know that, why are you putting yourself into such a frenzy?
I told her to slow down, breathe, and to release it. Let it go for a day. And, then see if it came through. I told her, there are too many people that pick up on the vibes and especially little ones. She agreed. We visited about releasing our pasts, and how it helped me. She couldn't believe how I have let so many things go.
I told her if it was meant to be, then it would happen, and maybe its a push into a different avenue for employment than where she is applying. As she left, she thanked me, she left very calm with the realization that it was not going to be the end of the world.
It is time to stop and smell the roses for sure. What are we missing every day of our lives? Do you really stop and look at the color of the sky? The shapes of the clouds? What about the different colors of green on a tree? The different textures of bark on that tree?
When was the last time you stepped barefoot in mud? Or listen to all the different songs the birds sing? And be able to pick out what species is singing? Have you looked at the architecture of the buildings around you? Deciding if you liked old or new? ( I like the old) When you speak to people, do you look at the beauty that resonates from them, or do you just see skindeep? Take the time.
Today I will make sure that I will enjoy every moment of my life from here on, and to enjoy every bit of nature that God has put here for me to remember His wonders, His beauty, His everything.
