I was born in the middle of last century, so I guess I've been on this journey for a quite a while. It seems such a short time though. It is only recently that I have begun to realise just how wonderful this journey has already been, and I am so looking forward to the rest of my life.
I have two grown children, and four beautiful granddaughters. I live with my cat Dudley, and my baby, a chihuahua cross named Jessie.
The short time I have been here on Bnet has really opened my eyes to the wonder of people, and the spirituality that resides here. So many belief systems, so many ways to express oneself. I have come to realise that we are all one, each of us on this beautiful planet is just a minute part of the whole. We are Ourself.
I have learnt some new words - Metta, Namaste. Seek the meanings as I did, and feel their beauty. To me they express more than any string of words can say.
Dear Annie, I was not aware that I had a comment here, and I wanted to stop and reply to your comment. I am not here as much as I used to be. Annie~no, that never came to fruition. It was a very difficult time of my life, and I had to hurry to rent a home for me and my family. I struggled for a few more years, but have since found peace in accepting what I have. I don't have "my" house, but what I do have is the opportunity to have a new life, and my days are much brighter. Hugs~Michelle
