I'm trying to write a paper that compares and contrasts "The Martyrdom of Saints Perpetua and Felicity" and "The Rule of St. Benedict." Anyone feel conversant on these subjects? I could really use your perspective!

I have been looking into the story of the Nephilim and fallen angels. Interesting stuff going back to Sumarian times, the fact that all pagan sources are somehow worshiping dragons or serpents, the fallen angels in the book of enoch taught us everything from medicence, astrology, astronomy, mathematics, to war etc. Has anyone else looked into this stuff? Any good forum links let me know, thanks in advance...

This group seems to have slowly dwindled away. However, there are two boards, now, that might meet your desire for discourse. They are Science & Religion and Ancient Mysteries. Both can be found under the 'forums' tab. Welcome to B'net... and have fun!

Hmmm...this is mysterious indeed. I'm new to beliefnet and would love to discuss history's mysteries. I am particularly interested in St. Malachy's pope prophecy. Anybody out there?

I really don't know. At one time, the idea for this group was widely accepted and needed... now, it's as though it's been forgotten. >grins

Instead of ancient mysteries we have a modern one. Where is everybody? Were they beamed up by space aliens?
