Dear friends, Did you know that Peru has an inexplicable stone forest that is one of the greatest mysteries on the planet? I just purchased a beautiful book on the topic that I wanted to share here with the Ancient Mysteries group. I had never heard of this mystery until now and was wondering if anyone else has knowledge of this mysterious stone forest in Peru or even better, has been there to experience it. The book is called Markawasi: Peru’s Inexplicable Stone Forest. The photographs in the book are exquisite and the reader learns about the history, how it was discovered and the theories of how this forest of stones came to be. As a spiritual traveler I have put this sacred place on my bucket list of places to visit. I hope the book will raise your interest in the same way. Blessings, Eva Rose The link to the website describing this magical place on Earth is here: www.markawasi.com/index.html

One of the great mysteries of the New Testament is what was Jesus doing during the majority of his life that we know nothing about. Leaving aside the story of his birth, the only information we have about the younger years of Jesus comes from the Gospel of Luke who describes an occasion when a precocious twelve-year-old Jesus speaks in the temple, impressing his elders. The Bible is then silent about the following twenty year period of Jesus’ life until he reappears on the scene around the age of thirty when he is baptized by John and begins his ministry. What happened during these missing years of Jesus’ life? What experiences might have shaped Jesus into the man he became? Why do we find so many parallels between the teachings of Hinduism and Buddhism and the teachings of Jesus, who was considered a subversive in his Roman and Jewish community? Could a clue to these missing years come from a controversial discovery over a century ago by a Russian journalist? In my new novel, THE BREATH OF GOD, I example the implications of this journalist’s historical discovery through a fictional story of suspense, mystery, and mysticism. If you are interested in learning more about the book Library Journal has called "Visionary Fiction" and RT Reviews has called "A thought provoking masterpiece," please visit my site: www.jeffreysmall.com

Where man's ideas and in site, of where issues comes from is for that person alone to understand, to debate a issue is wrong but to add a view to form a balance between people, is what I do. You seek where Man's life is structured from. It is forbidden by my faith to show you God, but I can show you a evil, then the Concept of God is more then what you seek. As I enter web sites I do not belong, because if I change one person who finds a moral value of what I write then i have completed my work. curious if anyone has ordered any of the dvds in the Origins & Oracles series by Michael Tsarion ? I kind of went a little crazy financially and ordered the entire set, along with his latest, "Architects of Control". All together there is about 60 hours of video and some really interesting information on what this group seems to be focused on. Of course, this is may be very old news to a lot of you, and if so, I do apologize. Anyway, nice to be in the group.

I believe that there are some things in this world that both science and mythology have not been able to fully explain. Factors in the Maya and Egyptian cultures are just a couple of those things.

Hi, I am new to this site and this group. I too am fascinated by Ancient Mysteries. There is so much we do not have history about. When something is found there is much speculation about how it fits with what we believe today. I find the most fascinating part of the Bible in the very first part of Genesis. This is the part before the history of the Isrealites begins. The part about who was left to people the world after the flood. It is the explanation about how we became humans and how this all began. This is the first mystery that can be debated forever. I have met people who say this is all true exactly as written. And their minds then close. They even fear to question otherwise. And then the people who say this is symbolic. And their believe leads their debate. Others who say it is hogwash and believe only in Darwinism. Or nothing. Or don't care. Bottom line. If your mind is closed, that is the end of the story for you. But then there is the rest of us. The ones who hope there is a way to learn the real truth. The elusive truth. To be closed only tells each of us what we believe. Fortunately, believing something does not make it true. You can believe your friend will never betray you. The betrayal is up to the friend, not your belief. You can believe many things and as humans we do. Is belief and truth even related? Wellllll....Maybe. Can we bring about truth by believing something? It seems so, sometimes. Or was it always truth? We are told psychologically if we tell a child or a person they are something, sometimes they will work real hard to live up to that faith in them. This will be whether we tell them they are something good or bad. We call it fulfilling prophecy. We tell a child they are always so truthful. They will either choose to try to be that way because you believe in them...Or they will gloat they can lie to you and you will believe them. Or they forget it the next day. What makes one do it one way and the other do it the other way? Is that as much a mystery as the ancient mysteries of how things were done that should not have been able to be done? In my own life, I have done things I should not have been able to do. I have accomplished results that should not have been mine. Was this from faith or just dumb luck...or is it the way things work? And so, who are we descended from? I sometimes think we are the descendants of giants and we are the small remnants of this great species. That we are actually losing our abilities as a species, not becoming greater as we like to think. I will be reading what others have to say here and hope to hear, pro and con, or irrevelant. And if you think this is just more hogwash, that is okay to say too. After all, we really can't know. Or can we?

Okay somebody tell me how did they build those pyramids in Egypt. Don't tell me that they drug two ton blocks by rope, and placed them so precisely
