Because I'm a stay-at-home-mom to a toddler, I don't have much opportunity to get involved with my church. I though this might be a good opportunity to connect with some like-minded people.

Some history about me: I grew up in a small, conservative Christian denomination. After years of trying to talk myself into believing there is a god, I finally came to the realization that for me, it doesn't really matter. The important thing for me is to continue to learn and grow by being open to others opinions and then nonjudgmentally forming my own. That realization has brought me much peace where spiritual matters are concerned.
