Hi, I'm Miguel-José (aka "Acorn"). I am 36 years old and I live in Lima, Perú with my husband-soulmate.
I am originally from New Orleans (Delacroix Island), Louisiana and of Isleño descent (Canarian Spainish).
I'm a R.N. (Public Health) with the International Red Cross (ICRC) currently working throughout Central and South America.
I'm an amateur-hobbyist beekeeper and science nerd. I like being outdoors in nature, hiking, camping, exploring old roads, jungles and rainforests, thunderstorms, frogs and pelicans (my totem animals), the smell of fresh coffee, hot cinnamon rolls and snuggling under the covers in cold weather. I enjoy cooking, reading, crocheting, playing backgammon and listening to Nueva Canción, Early Jazz-Blues and Southern Rock.
I'm a proud gay Independent Catholic and "Energy Worker", a student-practitioner of Curanderismo, Naturopathic Medicine and Kundalini Yoga. My SPIRITUALITY and PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with our Lord and Lady and the ONE - the Universe, is very important to me and is a big part of who I am.
