About Me
I would like to meet people of my own faith family and other Christians.
I have been happily married for 41 years and have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. We also have 4 grandchildren who we have adopted and them us because they do not have grandparents and I believe that all children should know a grandparent who loves them with all their hearts and will sit and listen to the child and not run and tell mom and dad on them. What the children talk to me about stays between the child and I. They need someone whom they can trust to talk to and I can be that person for them. I enoy teaching 4-H members Cake decorating, crocheting, and cooking. I have been a 4-H leader for 34 years.
I enjoy being active in my community and teaching Red Cross Health & Safety classes is a hugh part of my volunteering life. I also enjoy substituting at St. Laurence School for the Secretary and in the classroom for those that are 3 grade and up. Because I'm in a wheelchair full time I would have a really hard time keeping up with the students that at Pre-K, Kindergarten and First and Second. I also enjoy helping with setting up and doing the behind the scenes for First Communion and Confirmation. My life is wonderful as long as my husband doesn't be a crab about what I'm doing. All that I do is voluntering and I don't get paid for any of what I do. I ask that everyone enjoy life as it is for them now and smile at everyone you meet. It's really interesting to see what kind of reaction you get from strangers. I's fun. Have a pleasant day and smile. God is watching over us and he will help us as we move along. God Love you all.
