About Me
Life's full of contradictions isn't it? Here we are on Beliefnet and my tag is 'Beyond Beliefs'! . . . but then, it is my experience that until we've seen and understood the paradox, we've probably not really grasped the higher truth.
It's also my experience (20 years exploring a whole range of faiths, self help methods, New Age techniques, ancient philosophies, etc.) that life itself is our spiritual journey and the best way to make progress is to think less, reason less and get on with living as connected to God (The One, The Tao, Life The Universe and Everything, or whatever you prefer to call it) as we can.
I'm a sensitive guy . . . to energies, to how people are feeling, to disharmonies . . . which makes life a struggle at times, but it also makes me (or so I've been told) good at what I do . . . which is help others find their path and their true, inner, self. I do this by a wide range of techniques including meditation, Reiki healing, healing art, visualisations, The Transfirmation Game and divinations (including Angel cards and animal cards) . . . and the beautiful environment of the mountains of the Western Algarve in Portugal.
I love to sing and dance and am generally interested in folklore . . . and am always impressed and inspired by ordinary people who just 'are' . . . often far more spiritual than those on a specific journey. But then, I feel that we can learn from anyone and everything . . . for our life will always reflect the needs of our higher self . . . the God within us.
